Since 1949, Cerebral Palsy of Westchester has been the leading non-profit organization in Westchester and Fairfield County, providing essential educational services, direct services, vocational training, recreation, rehabilitation and advocacy to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Cerebral Palsy of Westchester was founded by a dedicated network of volunteers, helping disabled children access medical treatments and services that were just becoming available in area hospitals. CPW's Pioneer Club hosted a festive Cinco de Mayo party last Friday. The party-goers enjoyed some Mexican music, a conga line, The Mexican Hat Dance, and some trivia. They wrapped up the night with karaoke and lots of smiles. Meeting regularity every other Friday evening, the Pioneer Club is a social club open to adults 18 years or older living with IDDs.
